Jeff Friedl is a dynamic and versatile Los Angeles–based drummer known for bringing a deep rhythmic foundation and sharp creative precision to an exceptionally wide range of artists across rock, alternative, pop, jazz, and experimental music. Rooted in a broad musical upbringing, he quickly became a highly adaptable and in-demand player after moving to L.A. in 2004.

Over nearly three decades, Jeff has built an extensive career performing and recording with major artists across multiple genres. He is best known for anchoring the legendary new-wave band DEVO, both live and in the studio, for the past 18 years, as well as for his long-running work with A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, and many others. His work has appeared on major television shows and extends into film and television soundtracks, including the Minecraft Movie, Pixar’s Hoppers, Disney/Pixar’s Cars, and the FX series What We Do in the Shadows, and more.
